Melanie trained at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Acting and Mountview in Musical Theatre.
She has been in a number of award winning short films and features, including Cari where she was nominated for Best actress in the TMFF Awards. Melanie was also nominated for Best female villain in the Great British Pantomime awards for her role as Stepmother in Cinderella. Melanie has been involved in a number of Doctor Who and Torchwood audio episodes as lead and supporting roles with Big Finish Productions.
One of her greatest memories was singing a Shirley Bassey song for Dame Shirley Bassey herself.
For the past two years, since graduating from Mountview, she has been sailing the seven seas with Viking as lead vocalist!
